US is Next for Quantitative Easing

It’s inevitable that the US will follow suit with Negative interest rates. The crazy thing is that those in power have a GOAL to make things more and more expensive for average Americans (AKA 2% annual inflation). Cell phones and other tech have been dropping in price like crazy (a good thing when you want a $5 cell phone!), but when it comes to food, rent, healthcare, and basic survival needs, decreasing prices in that is “bad.”

For the US, I predict more rounds of QE to artificially prop the economy, and if need be, NIRP. If the Fed allows the economy to tank, then the Republicans will take the Presidency.

Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret Thoughts

Definitely worth the watch regardless of your views on diet.

Even if you ignore the fear mongering of the Global Warming portion, there is a very compelling case in terms of efficiency to go vegan. Unfortunately, as long as crony capitalism, subsidies, federally owned lands exist, no private ownership of oceans, etc., we’re going to continue see a gross distortion of the real costs of the animal products we eat.

It’s a tough position to be in. On one hand I recognize the inherent inefficiency of the animal side of things, but the market indicators and innovations on the vegan side of things to minimize the sacrifices seem to be larger than I’m willing to take at this time.

If the Meatonomics are correct in 62% subsidies and a $4 burger should actually be $10, then that would drastically change eating habits as a whole. If animal products were priced correctly, it would create incentives for innovation in the meat substitute industry.

There will come a day where meat consumption will have no choice but to decline, but as long as Government intervention remains, it hinders this process.

An Honest Conversation with a Communist

I hope Bernie Sanders wins the Democratic nominee and there can be a national debate about the definition of the term “exploitative” in the greater framework of immigrant owned small businesses.

I’ll admit, I fell into the trap of the poor definition of that word until I considered the full extent of resources, time, risk, etc. initially contributed by entrepreneurs that typically go unnoticed by the layperson.

Why I Spend So Much Effort On My Facebook Replies

Here’s my view on why I make such great efforts crafting Facebook replies. This meta-response is from a post I originally made December 31, 2015, on “peaceful parenting.”

It discusses my meta views on the differences between Moral Relativism and Moral Absolutism, for which I’m disgusted by those who attempt to declare Moral Relativism as an intellectually lazy way out of attempting to discover Truth and as an an excuse not to back up their statements with Reason and Logic.

“I wouldn’t call this a debate. My comments are just my own beliefs and experiences. I don’t actually believe there is a “right” way of parenting. Anyone that states they have it figured out, I would use the word “delusional”. You get one shot at parenting and even with multiple kids, because all children are unique, one size does not fit all. I adjust my parenting based on what I perceive my child needs. If I was wrong, its the decision I have to live with. It’s a massive gamble having kids…no matter how ” rational” you may be. I see what you hope to accomplish by raising your kids as rational human beings, but as I started off by saying, I strongly disagree with this form of parenting and I just share my own belief on how I choose to raise my children. I could debate your choice of words when we went down the “spanking” vs “artificial discipline” discussion…but its how you see it vs how I see it. I can’t change your view if you have strong disagreement with spanking to begin with. To draw a parallel, I stopped arguing with gun control people because they’re ideology comes from a different place. Hard to have a rational conversation. I have differences with some gun rights supporters as well, but I can definitely understand why they strongly believe what they fight for. Anyway, I digress. At the end of the day, although you disagree with my parenting style and I disagree with yours, they both come from a place of love.”

Thanks for informing me about your views on Moral Relativism. It explains why you remained unresponsive toward sorting out your thoughts to respond coherently toward specific statements I made. When declaring the great “Truth” that there is no “Truth,” you expose your own hypocrisy.

You miss the point on why I engage in these discussions. For someone like you, and others who adhere to this nonsense called “Moral Relativism,” there is no hope for you to be convinced otherwise through Reason and Logic. Those who don’t believe they can come to a greater understanding of what “Truth” is through the use of Reason and Logic are also hopeless to converse with through this medium of text.

Why is it that I engage on this issue? It’s so that I can publicly expose how your views don’t follow Reason or Logic. That your opinions on matters ultimately stem from some kind of emotionally or psychological baseline, that, when exposed to the light of questioning, can be correctly tossed out with superstitions and old wive’s tales. It’s for others to see just how poorly your conclusions are formed.

I come from the tradition of Moral Absolutism that one can come to a greater understanding through the use of rational thought. If two people disagree on a topic, then it’s a matter of coming to an understanding of the fundamental axioms which anchor those beliefs. One can use questioning to break down each step of the logic train to the core axioms. In simpler terms, it’s about living a life on Principles and not one on hypocrisy.

There reaches a point at which core axioms are “taken on faith” and from there one can come to an understanding of why differences emerge.

Unfortunately, for most individuals, taking this journey toward dismantling and questioning all the way down to the core beliefs is too emotionally jarring that psychological barriers get thrown into place. If you look through the history of my Facebook discussions, you will find that those individuals quickly identify themselves, and catch the hint that they don’t want to look like idiots when they make their baseless responses. I suspect most of them have defriended or unfollowed me to protect themselves.

Of course, in your world of thinking, me calling out someone for being an “idiot” is a wrong within itself no matter how objective such a statement may actually be in reality. But take heart in the world you rest in, since most people, when their beliefs are questioned, switch between Moral Relativism / Absolutism at their convenience and loudly proclaim, “Anyone that states they have it figured out, I would use the word ‘delusional.'”

I don’t claim to know the Truth, but I can claim I’m making a good faith effort to discover this Truth through questioning and using Reason despite how much emotional discomfort it causes and the people it may offend. Then I will work to implement such actions to be consistent with those beliefs I understand to be as close to the Truth as possible, despite how imperfect my efforts may be. And as new information comes into play that challenges my core axioms that can be supported with Reason, I will adjust what my views are in order to remain logically consistent.

To simply throw in the towel, become intellectually lazy since it’s too emotionally taxing to trace and correct your beliefs, and then plaster it all over by excusing your laziness with the belief that it all, “come[s] from a place of love” is to me, morally reprehensible and the root of many evils perpetuated in the world today.

“It’s for your own good!”
“It’s for the children!”
“It’s for the common good!”

As they say, “Ignorance is bliss” and “the road toward destruction is paved with good intentions.”

“Clean Capitalism” in Asian Immigrant Small Business Owners

A white male asked this question in Common Sense with Dan Carlin:

“In this world you want to create [in relation to Libertarian ideology], what would happen if you were born into a poor family. There is no free education, no subsidized healthcare, just what your family could afford. How much of your livelihood, your future, depends on the education and healthcare you receive before you can make decisions for yourself? In a post-modern, information age, how much will your labor be worth? Will you be able to support yourself in the future, could you support your own family? Would your children be destined to start at the same point you had?”

Here was my response:

AM I THE ONLY NON-WHITE PERSON IN THIS GROUP? This is NOT a hypothetical, but what goes on TODAY.

I’ll give you some homework. Go to the dry cleaner’s, nail salon, Teriyaki store, or Asian immigrant owned business and get to know the business owner. Talk to them about their life story, how much money they had when they immigrated to America, what life was like in their home country. Listen to how much they’ve suffered, and risked. Listen to how many hours they work. Listen to how much government “hand outs” they’ve received over the course of their life (oh wait, they weren’t raised here, so they didn’t get much).

And then after you hear all that, lecture them about how they’re “exploiting” their workers and that they are horrible people for not paying their employees a “living wage.” Then lecture them about how they should be paying maternity leave. And lecture them about how their GREED is destroying people’s lives.

Lecture these immigrant entrepreneurs on how they’re responsible for the income inequality for blacks and women. In fact, go to the inner-city, and find these Korean liquor store owners and tell them they need to pay reparations. Explain to them how impossible their poverty is, and they shouldn’t even try to better their circumstance because they didn’t get the proper “education” and proper government “entitlements.”

Because many of these laws and regulations are intended to “balance the scales” for past / current perceived “injustices” that go on between the BLACK/WHITE narrative. WHITE GUILT. Get over it.

Asian entrepreneurs are proving false the typical “I’m the victim. I’m too poor” narrative. Get over yourselves, and stop punishing Asian entrepreneurs for the sins of the White man. Get to know the Asian entrepreneurs in your neighborhoods and open your eyes toward upward, economic mobility that doesn’t require Government hand-outs.

Then, you will understand how more government regulations actually hurt opportunity, not for the hypothetical, but for the tangible, Asian immigrants living life next door to you right now.

City Level Bureaucracy Setting “Policy”

When I was attempting to run a night club out of one my hotels, I was shocked to see the extent that City bureaucrats and certain police officers exercised power that went above common sense.

One example, I was brought in and lectured about how my $2 beer advertisements were too low, and they wanted me to discontinue the “cheap alcohol” policy. They received the complaint “anonymously.” I pointed out I got the pricing from the local competitors.

Second example, I had Karaoke, and the police came in and shut it down because I didn’t have a “live music” permit.

Third example, I was lectured that I shouldn’t be attracting “those kinds of people” into my nightclub when my alcohol pricing matched my competition.

Fourth example, the same police officer who shut down the Karaoke, also shut down a pool party that was starting at my hotel because I didn’t have the proper permits. Of course, the police officer preferred to enforce the shut down notice just before the party began to maximize the disruption.

How naive for me to believe that I could be left alone if I wasn’t bothering other people and providing a wanted service. Instead bureaucrats and their cronies decide to exercise their authority because they get off on control and power. Power is a drug and those addicted seem to be attracted to Government.

The Fat-Burning Hormone & Low-Carb / Ketosis Diet

This is one major area in which I became extremely angry at the lies spread through government propaganda (AKA public school): low fat diet. And crony capitalism in which the agriculture and vegetarian agendas coopted generations of sugar addicts through the State.

After watching the “Fat Head” documentary on Netflix and discovering r/keto, I actually started doing my own research to discover I’ve been living a lie.

Once I switched to a high fat, low carb diet, my quality of life drastically improved. Mental clarity, hunger endurance, energy levels, weight loss, and the full richness of full fat food were some benefits. Fancy that evolution / God designed our bodies to consume the tastiest parts of animals (Fat) to operate optimally.

Consider this: if politicians overall, can’t be trusted, why would you take on face value the government beuracrats and scientists hired by these very same politicians? Especially public school. The Government is a sham perpetuated by the elites in order to control you, and not to benefit you.

Question everything, especially beliefs that are being indoctrinated through the use of Government funds ultimately controlled by the elite and special interests. The evils of fat and harmless nature of carbs is but one lie of many.

Senator Paul Reveals Who Killed Audit the Fed Bill

On a vote along party lines, only two Democrats voted to Audit the Fed. Bernie Sanders was one of them. Despicable.

Democrats in bed with Wall Street bailouts. That’s right. The Democrats don’t want “meddling” from Congress by an organization CREATED by Congress.

“If we allow oversight of the Fed, it could become more difficult to funnel trillions to failed bankers.” – @RudyHavenstein

On the other hand, it is surprising that all Republicans, minus one, voted in favor of the bill. We’re getting closer to revealing all the shadiness that goes on in the Federal Reserve.
